The GeoChemical Data ToolKIT, or in short GCDkit, is a system for handling and recalculation of whole-rock analyses from igneous rocks. It is written in R, a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
Moreover, some basic statistical methods are implemented (both for the whole data set and individual groups) using a fraction of the power built in R language. Included are the descriptive statistics, boxplots, histograms, principal component and cluster analysis.
GCDkit also makes possible the most common normative calculations to be performed.
